- **Event Description**: SHADOWSONG is a 1-day immersion where you'll work with your voice as a doorway to parts of your being that have been held back, hidden or wronged. Many of us learned early in life which sounds were “acceptable” and which were not. We adapted our voices to fit into our families, communities, and social environments. Your ability to be dynamic is a powerful thing and it's helped you survive throughout life, but over time, this shapes how you express emotion, power, need, grief, and truth. It also restricts your channel to core parts of yourself and the great magics that are innate to your being.

This 6hr immersion offers a space to continue the journey of opening and resting into these places again. We'll be meeting in the heart of winter, gathering around the Hearth at Soul Wellness Hub.

This is a shamanic and alchemical process and you literally can't get it wrong. We'll use a range of emergent sounds to explore our shadows from different angles, not to fix them or change them, but simple to give them presence and to integrate the secret powers that live within them.

This immersion doesn't ask you to sing well or perform or fit into any box. Rather, you'll deepen relationship with your voice, your body and your inner world and you'll take home these practices that bring you into contact with different fractals of your personal power.

We’ll explore sounds that may not have been welcomed in your micro-worlds: perhaps sounds that were considered too strong, too emotional, too raw, too primordial, or too real. These sounds often hold keys to instinct, clarity, boundary, and power. Together, we’ll approach this journey with curiosity, care, and respect, deeply meeting what is here to be met and reclaimed.

Throughout the day, we’ll move through:

- 3 embodied voice practices to build presence, capacity, and trust in your own sounds.

- 3 shadow sound-making rituals where the group creates shared, emergent soundscapes that act as the container for integration.

This space is especially supportive for people who work with or lead others; facilitators, somatic practitioners, bodyworkers, therapists, guides, and Ceremonialists, but well journeyed individuals and courageous hearted beings are also welcome.
